Conservia was engaged as an Energy Efficiency Advisor to assess the existing base building operation to provide the uplift of their current NABERS Energy rating. Our involvement included the creation of the improvement roadmap, made to be easily interpreted by the operational team for informed decision-making.

Additionally, Conservia was appointed to review fit-out projects to ensure that any tenant works would not impact the base building’s energy consumption & sustainability. Through a high level of involvement at the design stage, Conservia was able to identify any sustainability non-compliance issues and significantly reduce the cost of work from the tenant’s perspective, avoiding lengthy disputes and tenant dissatisfaction.

For the first time in 8 years, 2 Southbank Boulevard is on track to achieving a 5 Star NABERS Energy rating prior to the Covid-19 impact.

• Concise identification, specification and description of energy conservation     measures;
• Financial and NABERS categorisation of low, medium and high payback items   and respective financial metrics;
• Advice & recommendations which allowed the operational team to consider options individually & holistically.
